The reverse depicts the 1878 conference at Mangos de Baraguá between Maceo and Spanish General Arsenio Martínez Campos, with the legend CUBA SERÁ UN ETERNO BARAGUÁ. Numista records a repeated BCC watermark, a 150 × 70 mm paper format, letterpress and offset printing, and production by Impresos de Seguridad in Havana.
