Authenticity and certification information

Understand how Mintiax presents an item's recorded authenticity basis and third-party certification facts.

Last reviewed:

Authenticity basis

The authenticity basis states the evidence or professional assessment recorded for the exact piece. Read it together with the condition statement, photographs, catalog references, and any certification information.

Third-party certification

When a piece is certified, the listing can show the grading service, grade or designations, certification number, verification link, and the time verification was recorded.

  • Provider names and designations are reproduced as factual identifiers.
  • A verification link leads to the identified provider when one has been recorded.
  • A pending-verification notice means Mintiax has not recorded completion of that check.

What this information does not mean

Certification and grade describe recorded third-party information; they do not promise future value, investment performance, or permanent agreement among grading services. If a number, holder, photograph, or description appears inconsistent, contact support before relying on it.
