Standard-circulation 5 Pesos note issued by Banco Central de Cuba and dated 1998. The green obverse shows Antonio Maceo, the BCC logo, and red series/serial EB-12 071220. The reverse depicts the Protest of Baraguá of 1878. Numista records a repeated BCC watermark, a 150 × 70 mm paper format, and printing by Impresos de Seguridad in Havana. PMG identifies Pick 116b and grades the note Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.

The PMG holder assigns Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Some fibers or particles are visible in the watermark area and near the margins; it cannot be determined from the photographs whether they are on the note or the holder. No obvious folds, tears, or holes are visible.
