Standard-circulation 5 Pesos note issued by Banco Central de Cuba and dated 1997. The green obverse shows Antonio Maceo, the BCC logo, and red series/serial EA-25 926177. The reverse depicts the Protest of Baraguá of 1878. Numista records a repeated BCC watermark, a 150 × 70 mm paper format, and printing by Impresos de Seguridad in Havana. PMG identifies Pick 116a and grades the note Choice Uncirculated 64.
The PMG holder assigns Choice Uncirculated 64. Some fibers or dark specks are visible in the light watermark area and near the margins; the photographs do not establish whether they are on the paper or the holder. No obvious tears or holes are visible.
