Banco Nacional de Cuba 50 Pesos banknote dated 1961, Pick 98a, serial C60 045017. The violet obverse centers Calixto García Íñiguez between CINCUENTA PESOS inscriptions, with red serial markings. The reverse is an allegory of the nationalization of foreign enterprises on 6 August 1960: armed figures, a Cuban flag, industrial buildings and fuel pumps appear above the names UNITED FRUIT and ESSO.
