The black-and-brown obverse centers a portrait of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, with the red bank seal and red serial D344171A. The reverse centers the Cuban coat of arms, flanked by the denomination. Numista records a 157 × 67 mm paper format, printing by American Bank Note Company, and demonetization on 4 August 1961. PMG identifies Pick 79a, notes a red serial number, attributes the piece to the BMB Collection, and grades it Choice Uncirculated 64.
