A 500 Francs CFA banknote issued for the Central African Republic by the Banque des États de l’Afrique Centrale, dated 1987, with series R.02 and serial 109586. The multicolored obverse features a carved ancestral figure with an offering bowl and a vessel; the reverse depicts a seated artisan carving a mask with finished sculptures nearby. The PMG label identifies Pick 14c and a carving watermark and assigns Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. Numista places the issue in the Republic period, records a 150 × 76 mm paper format, and attributes printing to Oberthur Fiduciaire.
