2009 · 2 Dollars · Bermuda
A vertical-format 2 Dollars banknote issued by the Bermuda Monetary Authority in 2009, with the special “Bermuda Onion” serial prefix and serial 695721. The obverse features a bluebird on a branch, Queen Elizabeth II, hibiscus flowers, sailboats, and a butterfly. The reverse presents a clock tower, Neptune with a trident, a compass, a city view, and butterflies. The PMG label identifies Pick 57a, printer TDLR, and a hibiscus watermark and assigns Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Numista records a 140 × 69 mm hybrid-substrate format, the 400th Anniversary of Bermuda redesign series, and confirms the onion-prefix variety as Pick 57a.
The PMG holder assigns Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. No tears, holes, or prominent stains are apparent in the photographed hybrid-substrate note. Direct inspection of the substrate, edges, and surface is limited by the holder and reflections.
Cataloged from the visible PMG label and the photographic agreement of the issuer, 2009 date, denomination, special onion prefix, serial 695721, bluebird and reverse designs, printer, watermark, and Pick 57a attribution with the specific Numista variety row.
Certified by PMG; certification number 2456773-011 is visible on the holder. No other provenance is shown in the photographs.
